Blogging
I've never really done this before, but I was reading up on why some people blogged, and realized that this would be an excellent opportunity to share and improve my writing. I'm starting this in the senior year of high school, but I hope this will become a nice habit and last throughout college!

SUMMER INTERNSHIP AT NATIONAL TAIWAN UNIVERSITY
Over summer, at the Astrophysics Department Array Lab of National Taiwan University (NTU), I conducted research on gravitational lensing. Using image data taken from the Hubble Space Telescope and the Pixelens software, I analyzed the strong lensing effects of massive galaxy cluster Abell 1689 to determine its inner mass distribution. Then, I derived a core model with a single isothermal sphere which matched well with the predicted distribution. I concluded the journey at NTU with a research report and sense of fulfillment.
I would like to provide the internet link to the research report I wrote this summer at National Taiwan University (NTU) titled “INNER MASS DETERMINATION OF A MASSIVE GALAXY CLUSTER ABELL 1689.”
